Extra Calories

Sometimes it’s almost impossible to get enough feedings in throughout the day to provide the proper calories to maintain or gain weight. There are a few options to choose from to incorporate extra calories. These options are not complete nutrition and are only meant to supplement the diet. The majority of calories should come from the food that you are feeding.

Fat – Do not use drippings from cooking meat. The chemical composition of fat is changed when it is cooked and becomes very unheathly. If you want to use animal fat, it must be fed raw and VERY fresh from a reputable source. Or, use unsalted, real butter.

Nutrical – This product is good to add extra calories and vitamins. NOT to be used as a sole souce of nutrition. Question: I read somewhere that cat’s with high calcium levels shouldn’t use this… is this true? email me:

PDG – Made by Wysong. “PDG™ provides natural archetypal nourishment; including vitamins, minerals, enzymes and probiotic cultures to animals that are anorectic, undernourished, or otherwise debilitated.”

You do not need a prescription to by B-Complex but work with your veterinarian to be safe.
